Invisalign® straightens your teeth with the aid of a series of transparent aligners that nobody will notice and that will not impact your daily activities. The system is made-to-measure for your comfort.
Why might you need orthodontics?
A dazzling smile is an invaluable attribute. It can transform your outlook, help you go beyond your limits and bolster your self-confidence, in both your professional and social life.
Today, you can have a smile like that without needing traditional medal braces with wires and bands.
Invisalign® treats all problems relating to orthodontics in adults.
- Overlapping: There is not enough space in the mouth for all the teeth to be positioned correctly.

Correction of dental overlapping
- Separation: There is too much space between the teeth and they move progressively further apart.

Correction of dental separation
- Reverse occlusion: The teeth of the upper and lower jaws are not correctly aligned.

Correction of dental reverse occlusion
- Overbite: The teeth in the upper jaw overlap the teeth in the lower jaw.

Correction of dental overbite
- Underbite: The teeth in the lower jaw overlap the teeth in the upper jaw.
If you have a bridge, a crown or you wear bands, seek your dentist's advice as to whether Invisalign® treatment is suited to your orthodontic problem.

The Invisalign® treatment plan
The consultation
The dentist will discuss your dental problems.
They will then draw up a treatment plan, taking both functional problems caused by poorly positioned teeth and aesthetics into account.
ClinCheck® software
The dentist will scan your tooth impressions and makes a 3D model of your smile.
It controls not only movement but also speed. At each stage, only some teeth can be moved, as specified in the treatment plan for each specific stage.
This allows forces to be applied effectively to move the teeth to the desired position.
In this way, you can visualise how your smile will change throughout the treatment, which is very motivating.
The Invisalign® aligners
They are made from a transparent, very resistant thermoplastic material They are made to measure and perfectly adjusted to your teeth.
One treatment normally comprises between 18 and 36 aligners and lasts between 6 and 24 months. You need to wear them for two weeks before moving on to the next aligner. You need to wear the aligners at all times, except when eating or drinking. You can brush and floss easily, which helps maintain good dental hygiene.

If used for 20 minutes a day, Acceledent® speeds up tooth movement by 50 %.
This easy-to-use ‘hands-free’ dental device fits into your mouth and sends small vibrations to the Invisalign® aligners.
Keep your perfect smile thanks to a retainer
Without a retainer, even perfectly aligned teeth can gradually return to their original position. This is a common problem with all orthodontic treatments but there is a simple solution.
The dentist puts in place an invisible wire retainer on the inside surface of the teeth. Depending on the case, they may also recommend you wear a Vivera Retainer at night.

Effects of using Invisalign®
You may feel a slight, temporary discomfort for several days after starting to use a new size of aligner. This discomfort will usually disappear within one or two days.
Results
You will gradually see your teeth moving slightly, until they arrive at their final desired position.
